One of the characteristics of Maine Coon cats is that even though they are very large, they are the perfect family cat as they are very social.
I’ve probably said it before, but like to say it again “Getting a Maine Coon is like getting a dog”. For an MCO is generally affectionate, social and thrives with others – and then it wants to keep up with everything that happens in the family.
The picture shows our Sasquash, who several times a day is the foster mother (father) of our little June at 5 months, and cleans her several times a day.
He’s like a big brother taking care of her, letting her play with things first.
But sometimes he has to show how to do it.
And June loves that she can cuddle with him when she needs to cuddle.
